We have some very sad news to report. The amazing actor Robin Williams has been reported dead at age 63. Emergency services arrived on scene at 12pm after receiving telephone calls reporting a male adult not breathing. He was pronounced dead at 12:02pm. It is believed that it was a suicide after suffering severe depression lately.

Robin Williams was born on July 21st 1951  in Chicago, Illinois. He was a quiet shy child until he became involved in drama and after being one of only 20 students accepted into the freshman class at the Julliard School he later rose to fame with his role in Mork & Mindy. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor three times and received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his acting in Good Will Hunting. He received five Grammy Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and four Golden Globe Awards.

He struggled with alcohol and drug problems during his lifetime and was hospitalized in March 2009 due to heart problems. He was an enthusiastic gamer, even going so far as to name two of his children after game characters. His daughter was named after Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda.

His wife has said "I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of it's most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heatbroken."

Robin Williams starred in so many fabulous films such as One Hour Photo, Bicentennial Man, Patch Adams, Good Will Hunting, Flubber, Jumanji, Mrs Doubtfire, The Fisher King, Awakenings and of course Good Morning Veitnam. He was a very talented, inspirational man, with a great sense of humour in his acting. There will be a huge loss without him on our screens and I'm sure in his family and friends' lives. Such sad news
